Get State-Funded Tutoring
Through Step Up For Students
Step Up For Students is a Florida-approved nonprofit organization that administers state scholarship programs allowing families to use education funds for private tutoring and academic support.
Families may use funds from the following programs for tutoring services.
Eligible Scholarship Programs

Personalized Education Program (PEP) - An education savings account (ESA) that allows parents to pay for tutoring, curriculum, and instructional services.

FTC/FES-EU Scholarships - Eligible students may use scholarship funds for approved tutoring services.

New Worlds Scholarship Accounts - Designed to support math and reading growth through par-time tutoring and academic programs.
How It Works

Apply for State Funding
Families apply and are approved through Step Up For Students.

Confirm Eligibility
Once approved, students become eligible to use their scholarship funds for tutoring services.

Choose The Math People
Parents select approved tutoring services and submit payment or reimbursement through EMA.
